Throsgaard Camp

Close by the canopy of an oak tree, the Throsgaards Camp had provided healers and the wounded with sanctuary on the battle of Friday evening. In the noon sun of the following day, it remained a welcome sight.

Sketches and Background

The sketches for this blog are carried out on site at events and are generally done between 30 minutes and an hour (or however long it takes me to enjoy a beer as I draw). Drawn with a 20 year old Rotring Art Pen in brown ink.

For those who may not know, LARP (Live Action Role Play) is a game a little like Dungeons & Dragons but with costumes, props and a small army of people who are willing to kit up, escape reality for a weekend and give it a go.

I would like to pass on my thanks to both crew and players who spend their time and hard earned money on the tents, sets and props. I hope the sketches do you justice.
